Accurate Dialogue Choices (With Lie Indicator)
Actually know what your character is about to say!
Overview
Ever noticed that sometimes, you’ll pick a dialogue option and your character says something completely different than what you were expecting? Didn’t mean to be that condescending? DID mean to be condescending, but your character turned out to put it mildly? Well, this mod fixes that!
I’ve essentially just rephrased the entirety of the dialogue choices in the game to better reflect what your character’s about to say.
This mod also fixes one of the biggest issues with the dialogue in this game: the illusion of choice. I won’t get into spoilers, but you’ll run into a few instances of thinking you HAVE to make a major decision with a dialogue choice, but it turned out to just be… the same. No more of that. You’ll now know where your character’s head at.
Additionally, I’ve added a (Lie) suffix to dialogue choices just to add some spice.
Files
Accurate Dialogue Choices
This file is for my manual re-write of the dialogue choices. You’ll generally get an idea of the dialogue choice, but not the full line. Additionally, if you’re telling a bold-faced lie, then the game will indicate that! Here’s an example:
Full Dialogue Choices
Shows the exact line that your character is about to say! Here’s an example:
This file also includes the Lie indicator in the options! If you’d like full dialogue choices without the indicators, then check out yakuzadeso’s dialogue choices mod!

Incompatibilities
This mod makes changes to the following file found in your game’s default pak files:
Phoenix/Content/Localization/WIN64/SUB-enUS.bin
Any mods that edit this file are likely incompatible. Some example mods that are unfortunately incompatible are:
Language and Subtitle Options – Any Audio Any Text
Note On Translations
- I am unfortunately not multilingual so this is for English only. If someone is multilingual and would like to make a translation mod, you have my full permission to upload it as a mod!
To Do
- Create “Full Dialogue Choices” for other languages. (There’s actually no need for this! yakuzadeso’s dialogue choices mod is basically the Full Dialogue Choices file here but without lie indicators for all languages.)
- Add a section here to list all my dialogue changes, just for those who are interested.
- Put my changes onto Github so people can check out how my changes were made or would like to take a knack at making their own dialogue edits.
- Have the modded subtitle file override the other language files, for those who want the modded subtitles but keep their game in another language.
