Forbidden Vivarium
Ever wanted to keep a giant spider like Hagrid? Maybe believed you could train a troll better than Alexandria? Well now you can! With Forbidden Vivarium you can capture most monsters found throughout the land and store them in your vivarium! Careful, they bite!
IMPORTANT: This mod modifies PhoenixShipData.sqlite – if you are using another mod that also does so such as the Alohomora Mod you will need to merge them using the Hogwarts Mod Merger.

Why? I thought it would be fun, with how many mods expand your ability to customize your Room of Requirement and Vivarium, I can see wanting to put a few monsters in here and there. Plus I think it’ll be fun when HogWarp comes out. Or if you just ever wanted to RP a poacher?
Installation:
Just download the file and extract it to your C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods folder (or wherever your installation is.)
Bugs/Features to be aware of:
Due to the nature of how the game handles Beasts, if you capture a monster that can respawn it will be flagged as a beast at that exact location every time until you release the monster into the wild. Creatures flagged as beasts cannot die.
Placing a monster into your vivarium will summon it into the space, warning: they are always hostile, just like as if you encountered them in the wild, don’t worry they won’t hurt any of your normal beasts.
There is a duplication bug if you choose to add the monster back to your inventory from the vivarium through any means OTHER than the nab-sack. (Personally I found this helpful if you just want a spawn any number of a given monster in your vivarium, however they will be unable to die as they are still flagged as beasts, if you capture them with the nab-sack again the count will properly update.)
If a monster is in your vivarium and you release it, it will become mortal again and can die, but will linger in the vivarium until killed or captured.
To release a monster from your vivarium, you will need to interact with a non-hostile beast in the same vivarium and use that menu to cycle to the monster you want to release (the camera will not track monsters in this interface, but descriptions and name will update).
