Golden Fantasy Sword
This mod replaces your wand with a curved gold fantasy sword.
Why, you may ask?
Because its awesome to swing a sword around to cast magic!
Description
This mod replaces your basic wand with a golden fantasy sword I found on Sketchfab.
I did shorten the length of the weapon by about 25%, as I preferred a shorter sword in game over the original length.
Especially since the spellcasting animations are made with lighter and shorter objects in mind.
The sword only appears when you have no wand handle equipped. Otherwise you’ll only see a weirdly textured wand.
I created this mod by following tutorial on Modding.wiki.
It took me a while to figure out how to do this correctly, but, through trial and error, I succeeded.
Installation
Unzip all the files in the Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods directory.
If there is no ~mods folder present, create it yourself.
To uninstall this mod, simply remove the files from the ~mods folder.
This mod uses Chunk 111 and may conflict with mods that also do that.
Known issues
Parts of the sword retain a weird glow after casting spells with it. This glow disappears after firing a standard attack.
Since I am very new at modding, I have no idea how to fix this.
