Obvious Room Of Requirement Tweaks – Vanilla Plus Herbology and Vivarium Fixes
This is a few vanilla balance friendly fixes for some things that the devs didn’t implement optimally in the Room Of Requirement.
v1.0
Herbology Changes PlantDefinition
-Fluxweed changed to small plant (Because it’s small, it looked stupid af in a large planter)
-Dittany, Fluxweed, Knotgrass, Mallowsweet yields of 3
-Shrivelfig yield of 5
(Potion ingredient plants yields were balanced so that all premium planters would yield 15 per batch.)
-All plants grow time of 10 minutes (Because having different timers on combat plants was needlessly tedious, let players handle all their harvesting at once.)
TransfigurationSlotPoolExpansions
-Increased Planter placement cap from 7 to 8 (Because wtf, there’s 8 plants, why would devs cap planters at 7, that was dumb af.)
Vivarium Changes
TransfigurationSlotPools
-Beast Feeder placement cap from 1 to 3 (What’s the point in automating feeding for just 5 animals at a time? Would have preferred to tweak the feeder to feed 12 animals at once, but couldn’t find a way to do that in the database.)
-Toy Box placement cap from 1 to 12 (Really only need 3, but put 12 to support early game if you have more species in a single biome and want them to be able to play by themselves.)
NurturingSpaceDefinition
-Max Number of Species default and all 4 biomes increased from 4 to 12 (To support enjoyment in early game before additional biomes are unlocked. Seriously devs, to a player that doesn’t know that additional biomes will be added later in the story, the max number of species cap just makes them mad and frustrated that they can’t house all the animals they’ve collected.)
CreatureDefinition
-Jobberknoll, Mooncalf harvest reduced from 5 to 3 to match all other creatures (Because why? There was really never any reason for Jobberknolls and Mooncalfs to have bigger harvests than all the other creatures. It wasn’t necessary for crafting purposes. It just confused players seeing different numbers, leading to speculation that albino starred animals had higher harvest amounts, which they don’t.)
