Tempus Imperium – Day Night Cycle Speed Modifications
A script to control the time flow rate of the world. Slow down or speed up the game time at will, without breaking game events.

A couple of steps and… it’s night already?!
With this mod you can finally enjoy the game at your own pace.
FEATURES
Configurable multiplier to scale the internal game clock
Keys to accelerate/decelerate time at will
Ensure that weather and game events do not desynchronise
No interference with sleeping, saving/loading, fast travel and level change
The default game clock speed is 1 game day = 48 real minutes, you can configure your own clock rate.
Some examples:
clockRate = 1.0 -> 1 game day = 48 real minutes (Default)
clockRate = 0.4 -> 1 game day = 2 real hours
clockRate = 0.2 -> 1 game day = 4 real hours
clockRate = 2.0 -> 1 game day = 24 real minutes
clockRate = 0.033334 -> 1 game day = 1 real day (real time)
The mod default value is 0.2 as you download it.
You can customize the default clock rate in config.ini
Open the config and follow instructions to better understand each value.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The game may crash on launch some times if the inject fails, ignore and restart until it launches.
INSTALLATION
Extract this mod zip files into the main folder of the game
Download RE-UE4SS
Extract xinput1_3.dll and UE4SS-settings.ini into “[MAIN GAME FOLDER]\Phoenix\Binaries\Win64\” (other files are not strictly needed)
CUSTOMIZATION
Navigate to “[MAIN GAME FOLDER]\Phoenix\Binaries\Win64\Mods\TempusImperium”
Open config.ini
Follow instructions inside and edit values to your needs
USAGE
Make sure you set your own clockRate value, rateMultiplier and HotKeys in config.ini (inside ../Mods/TempusImperium), or if you’re ok with default (x4 Slower) you can leave it as is.
If you don’t mind about speedup/slowdown open config.ini and set all keybinds = 0.
Default keybinds:
To increase the clock speed press “NUMPAD+” and to decrease press “NUMPAD-” .
To reset the clock speed to the value of your choice press “NUMPAD*”
NOTES
I tried my best to test the mod in many scenarios, but bugs could still occur. If that’s the case, please report in the bugs section with a clear way to reproduce the issue.
